Spirit of optimism at Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2021
Exhibitors and trade visitors are looking forward to the traditional Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade fair duo from October 26 to 29, 2021 in Stuttgart. The focus of the 15th Blechexpo – International Trade Fair for Sheet Metal Working – together with the 8th Schweisstec – International Trade Fair for Joining Technology – will be on cutting-edge technologies as well as outstanding process expertise in sheet metal, profile and tube parts manufacturing.
“There’s a mood of optimism here,” reports Georg Knauer, project manager for Blechexpo/Schweisstec at P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “The booking status is excellent, and our exhibitors are looking forward to showing their advancements in sheet metal and metal processing at the face-to-face event in Stuttgart at the end of October.”
The entire industry longs for personal customer contact in the context of a real trade fair atmosphere. Trade visitors want to see and touch products and machines, experience processes, have face-to-face discussions. The high demand proves that the traditional trade show duo Blechexpo/Schweisstec is appreciated as a globally recognized marketplace: Topics include detail and system solutions for the process chains in sheet metal, profile and tube parts production, their thermal and mechanical processing, cutting technologies, processing machines, equipment for punching, bending, folding and forming, as well as plant peripherals with controls and software, and finally solutions for handling and quality assurance. Further developments in digitization and automation are awaited with interest and excitement. Trade visitors with detailed questions and planned investments can experience process-transparent demonstrations on high-performance machines, molds and systems on site and get a basis for their own concrete company decisions.
Networking, cooperation and personal exchange
“Blechexpo/Schweisstec is a proven and traditional platform for our exhibitors to showcase their detailed and system solutions for complete process chains at a first-class level, and at the same time an excellent opportunity for networking and cooperation,” notes Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. This is because many suppliers in the field of sheet metal and metal processing as well as joining technology see themselves as solution providers for the entire sheet metal production and, in addition to their own machines, software and services, also offer holistic, coordinated solutions from a single source. Networking, automation and digitalization will therefore be among the core topics of Blechexpo/Schweisstec, which takes place every two years. On the part of the fair organizer stands the execution from 26 to 29 and will find optimal conditions for the personal, business exchange.
