Leading trade fair with the highest esteem
The 15th Blechexpo – International Trade Fair for Sheet Metal Working – together with the 8th Schweisstec – International Trade Fair for Joining Technology, which will take place in the proven double pack from October 26 to 29, 2021 in Stuttgart, Germany, reports a very pleasing booking status. Exhibitors and trade visitors can look forward to first-class cutting-edge technologies in sheet metal and metal processing, including joining technology at an international level.
The Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade show duo presents detailed and system solutions for the process chains in sheet metal, profile and tube parts production every two years. The event is considered a unique and globally recognized marketplace for the topics of processing of sheet metal, tubes and profiles, their thermal and mechanical treatment and processing, for cutting technologies, processing machines, equipment for punching, bending, folding and forming as well as plant peripherals with controls and software and finally solutions for handling and quality assurance. “For years, the complementary Blechexpo/Schweisstec trade show duo has enjoyed a high international reputation and has repeatedly demonstrated its unique process expertise,” confirms project manager Georg Knauer. “Bookings for 2021 have already been coming in very briskly for months, which shows us how much exhibitors are looking forward to the presence event and direct customer contact in the context of a real trade show atmosphere.”
The concept: topic-focused and practice-oriented
The trade show organizer will again follow a strictly practice-oriented trade show concept in 2021. The project team is planning stand enlargements for all exhibition halls. Thanks to many process-transparent demonstrations on high-performance machines, tools and systems, investment plans can mature into concrete decisions. Trade visitors will also benefit from practical and time-saving synergy effects of the trade fair duo. The dominant driver topics for the sheet metal working industries – this was already clearly apparent in 2019 – include digitalization, sustainability, process efficiency and future-proof solutions in the course of a rapidly changing production world. Modern mechanical joining and bonding technology is also of great interest because new materials and hybrid materials are entering the world of production, for example in the context of lightweight construction. Attention is also once again being focused on modern cutting technologies, such as high-pressure waterjet cutting.
Grinding Technology Center Hall 5: better and faster orientation
All exhibitors from the topic area of grinding technology will come together in Hall 5 and form a grinding technology center here. In this way, trade visitors can find out about all the latest innovations efficiently and in a concentrated manner over short distances and make contacts quickly. In the digital hall plans, the topic area of grinding technology is highlighted in color; this supports the time and route-efficient visit to the trade fair and ultimately the successful informative and professional exchange.
Sheet metal handling and processing is of central importance in any branch of manufacturing, because the product creation process starts with coil handling, followed by punching, bending, pressing, folding. As these stations are increasingly networked and automated, the end-to-end digitalized world of sheet metal and metal processing will also be one of the core themes of Blechexpo/Schweisstec in 2021.
“Be Part of the Best” – business contacts for investment-driving future projects
“The industry is looking forward to the globally recognized technology and knowledge platform covering all aspects of the processing of sheet metal, tubes and profiles as well as welding, joining and connection technology,” knows Bettina Schall, Managing Director of P. E. SCHALL GmbH & Co. KG. “Our project team is designing themes and supporting events in such a way that exhibitors and trade visitors will once again find all the prerequisites for an optimal business exchange.” Thus, the trade fair duo Blechexpo/Schweisstec, as a leading trade fair with high international significance, will attract experts from all over the world to Stuttgart with its range of products and services. All participants are looking forward to the personal exchange. In 2019, exhibitors from 36 countries and visitors from a total of 113 countries came to Stuttgart.
